How we work
A clear project plan.
One team by your side.
Most Publish360 launches take around eight to twelve weeks. We lead the project and do the building, testing and store submission. Your team stays close to the decisions, shares the materials we need and approves the work at clear points along the way.
Your part in the project, in three simple steps.
Make choices
We bring you the decisions that matter, with clear recommendations. You will not be asked to decide everything at once or guess what comes next.
Share what you have
We need the things already in your team: brand assets, ebook files, book information and storefront access. If anything needs attention, we explain it plainly.
Review and approve
There are three clear sign-off points: the design, the test version and the launch. You review work when it is ready, not while it is still being made.
Your project manager keeps the plan simple: what we are doing now, what is coming next and whether we need anything from you. We meet regularly, write down decisions and flag problems early. There should be no surprises.
We are also clear about what can affect timing. Quick decisions help. Apple can take two or three weeks to review an app. We will never ask you to announce a launch date before approval is in place, and we will tell you straight away if something needs attention.
- 01
Weeks 1–2
We start the project together
Your named project manager introduces the people working on your app, agrees the plan with you and sets up one simple place to share updates and files. We then connect to your storefront and bring in your catalogue, so your readers have a full library when the app opens.
You
Choose the people who can make decisions and give us access to your storefront. That is all we need to get started.
Us
Set up the project, introduce the team, connect your storefront and bring in your catalogue.
- 02
Weeks 2–6
We shape the app around your brand
We use your logo, colours, covers and typefaces to create an app that feels like part of your publishing house. We show you the design early, listen to your feedback and then build it. We also set up the pages you will use for news, podcasts, videos and promotions.
You
Send your brand assets, choose the design direction and give us one clear round of feedback before you sign it off.
Us
Create the design, build the app, set up reader sign-in and show you the finished work for approval.
- 03
Weeks 4–8
We prepare your books and sales setup
We bring in your ebook files and book information, protect the files and set up how readers find, buy and access each book. We agree the sales options with you — web checkout, subscriptions or in-app purchase — and test the whole journey before anyone sees it.
You
Send your ebook files and book information, check the catalogue and approve the test version.
Us
Load and check the catalogue, set up prices and access, test every purchase route and share a clear test report.
- 04
Weeks 8–12
We get you ready to launch
We prepare your app for Apple, Google and the web under your own developer accounts. Your app listing, ratings and customer base stay yours. We handle the store submission and any questions from the review teams, while keeping you updated on what is happening.
You
Confirm that you are happy to go live and agree the launch date with us.
Us
Prepare and submit the app, manage the review process, launch it and stay close for the first two weeks.
- 05
Week 12 onwards
We keep working with you
Launch is the start, not the end. We keep the platform up to date and help you understand what readers are doing. Together, we use that insight to plan the next campaign, improve the reader experience and give people a reason to come back.
You
Use the app as part of your everyday publishing and marketing work, with our guidance when you need it.
Us
Maintain and improve the platform, share useful reader insight and support your next steps.
After launch
The launch may finish around week twelve, but our work together continues. We help you keep readers engaged, learn from the activity in your app and plan the next way to reach them.
Know your readers.
Grow your community.
Own your future.
Own your reader relationships, keep 85-100% of your margins, and stop paying to re-acquire your own fans.
