About Publish360

Built by booksellers,
not just developers.

Publish360 is from Eden Interactive. We've been building ecommerce technology since 1999 and selling books since 2004 through Eden.co.uk, the bookshop we run ourselves — over 3 million customers and many millions of books sold. Merchandising, marketing, checkout, customer care, the repeat purchase: Publish360 packages that whole capability — the platform and the operating knowledge — for publishing houses ready to own their direct channel outright.

Why we built it

Publishers never had to be retailers. We've done the retail for them for two decades.

For decades booksellers did the retail work and kept the reader relationship in exchange — that was the deal, and Amazon industrialised it. When publishers now try to take that relationship back, most tooling offers ownership in name only: template apps on someone else's developer account, shared readers, browser experiences nobody returns to. We built Publish360 because we've run the other side of the counter at Eden.co.uk since 2004 — three million customers, many millions of books — and the whole retail capability, not just the software, is what a publishing house actually needs.

We are deliberately a platform company, not an agency. Your app runs on infrastructure that is maintained, improved and secured continuously — your team never inherits a codebase, and every publisher on the platform benefits from every improvement. And because we've built ecommerce technology since 1999 and sold books online ourselves since 2004, the platform ships with the merchandising patterns, campaign calendars and retention playbooks a bookseller runs without thinking.

Who we serve

Independent and mid-size publishers, deliberately

The largest providers serve the largest houses. We are built — and priced — for the tier they overlook: publishers with catalogues worth owning a channel for, and without an enterprise procurement department to feed.

01

Trade publishers

Fiction, non-fiction and children's lists building subscription and series relationships.

02

Academic & university presses

Catalogue-rich, mission-driven, and squeezed hardest by retail economics — with courses and analytics that fit teaching.

03

Professional & niche

Legal, medical, hobbyist and heritage publishers with loyal readerships and premium content.

04

Mission-driven publishers

Religious and purpose-led houses using daily products and community features to serve their readers.

We exist for one kind of publisher: the one who has decided their audience is worth owning — their app, their account, their data, their subscribers — in a tier everyone else serves with templates, shared apps and browser readers.
